Creamy Avocado-Lime Dip
Apr 01, 2021This creamy, tangy avocado dip is a healthy alternative to traditional chip dips and is perfect for dunking pita bread, crackers, and fresh veggies. It's a satisfying afternoon snack, something you can bring to work or school, and can be served as an appetizer at any get together.
It's super simple to make, just throw everything in a blender and pulse for a few minutes. In 5 minutes you'll have a dinner party worthy dip ready to enjoy.
If serving for others, presentation is key. Place in a round bowl in the center of a large serving plate and garnish the dip with a fresh cilantro leaf on top. Cover the surrounding area of the plate in pita bread, crackers, and freshly chopped veggie sticks for easy dipping.
INGREDIENTS:
1 ripe avocado
1/2 cup of Greek yogurt
Big handful of fresh cilantro (stems removed)
Juice of 2 limes
2-3 Tbs. extra virgin olive oil
5-6 splashes of Green Pepper Tabasco sauce
1/2 tsp. Garlic powder
Pink Himalayan salt & black pepper to taste
HOW TO:
Mix all ingredients in a blender or food processor until creamy. Transfer to a serving dish and serve with pita bread, crackers, or raw veggies like carrots, celery, cucumber, red bell pepper etc.
*Halve the recipe if only making it for yourself as a snack. Double if serving a big group of people
